Reader Reviews:
Who says you can't judge a book by its cover? Certainly not anyone who has read "Tales of Time." Although it's cover was quite striking, even compelling, I found it's contents to deliver even more than it had promised!!
Written by a historian it was surely boring, stuffy, out of touch----NOT!! Instead, "Tales of Time" was an amazing blend of history (we must allow our scholar/author that); fiction; whimsy; (including time travel); adventure; suspense; surprise (sometimes shocking) endings; optimistic dreams for the future; encouragement for deep reflection; respect for the environment; support for strong family traditions; and yes, even romance!!! In short, I highly recommend it!
Love the surprise endings. They remind me of Ray Bradbury. Some of these could easily be made into TV show episodes. Especially the story about the Civil War re-enactor or the one about the man who wants to find the last untouched place on Earth.
